Withdrawing Data Service Resources from Data Services via a GUI

To withdraw data service resources from data services:

1. Run the following command from within the OGSA-DAI WSRF binary distribution directory:

   $ ant guiWithdrawResource
   

2. The tool will appear and you can select your Web services container by pressing the Select... button.
3. When you are happy with the Path press Next.
4. Now you will be asked to enter:
   • The name of the data service, for example ogsadai/DataService, in the Service Name field.
   • The ID of the data service resource, for example MyRelationalResource in the Data Service Resource ID field.
5. Press Next when you have entered this information.
6. You will now be requested to press Next so that the tool can withdraw the data service resource from the data service.
   • If any problems occur then the tool will notify you of these.
7. When the withdrawl has completed a completion window will be displayed. Press Finish to exit the tool.
8. You will need to shutdown and restart your Web services container before the changes take effect.
